It's almost the end of the season, regionals are just a week away. The shortstop took a steel cleat to the shin, then two nights later(playing against the same team) had a helmet plow in to her in the exact same spot... she'll be out a week(minimum) which isn't up for another four days. Who says softball isn't brutal?

Saturday was a cold, all day tournament. It got progressively colder with each game, which made the day seem even longer. Our girls came in 2nd place.

I don't often stand behind the backstop during a game. This was an entirely different viewpoint than what I'm usually shooting, intending to get our star pitcher in action.. I can really feel the momentum in both of these shots.
